The historic Village of Cooperstown is a small town in the heart of central New York with global appeal. The second closest multi-distance triathlon to New York City in the HITS Triathlon Series makes this another home run for Tri-State Area athletes. The course in Cooperstown is a multi-loop race which makes the venue a grand slam for spectators; the athletes swim loops in Otsego Lake, ride laps around the same body of water and the run back along the same country roads frequented by local Amish families.
